Senior Service and Intergenerational Connection   (SSIC)
Senior service and intergenerational connections aimed at creating caring and preserving moral community by bridging seniors (elders), adults, youth, and children to learn, and value each other and increase self-esteem and make neglect of an elder unacceptable norms.

Our elders are mirrors to reflect the past. They are talking libraries that carry our past. They are keepers of cultural values and attitudes that bridge the past with present and future.
SSIC provides our seniors with:
-
Home support services to help our seniors to safely live at their homes such as housekeeping, medication reminding, accompaniment to medical appointment, shopping, and cooking meal.
-
Intergenerational dialogue between elders and young people one a month to reciprocally transmit values, knowledges, culture values, and language.
-
Group and one-on-one counseling and mediation to community members through group meetings and discussion and one-on-one meetings with individuals for peace maintenance and to conflict resolution.
-
Provide storytelling sessions to share and tell stories of the past to community members and public.
