Fashodo Foundation for Peace and Development (FFPD)
The people of South Sudan are victimized by the petroleum
and other precious natural and mineral resources found under the surface of their land. The availability and abundance of these resources made South Sudan a green pasturing land for gigantic international corporations run by some countries with veto power in the United Nations Security Council. The revenues from mineral and natural resources go directly to the pockets of dictatorial leaders and other are spend on weapons that kill thousands of lives and destroy villages. The survivors seek refuge in neighboring countries (Uganda, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Sudan) where they live without access to education, health, shelter, and food. Their relatives who made it to North America, Europe, and Australia become the source of social welfare. Join us to rehabilitate moral community and bridging cultural differences.
